
On 27 November 2025, JHEAT, in collaboration with Shenzhen Taichen Optical Communication Co., Ltd., visited Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology. The delegation toured the National Engineering Research Centre for Wide Bandgap Semiconductors and engaged in technical exchange discussions. Xiao Gang, Party Secretary of the School of Integrated Circuits at Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, attended the meeting and extended a warm welcome to the visiting team.

At Xi'an University of Electronic Science and Technology, the JHEAT team visited the National Engineering Research Centre for Wide Bandgap Semiconductors, gaining detailed insights into the centre's technological framework and practical achievements in material research and development, device fabrication, process optimisation, and testing validation. Through on-site inspections of laboratory facilities, process flows, and research projects, the JHEAT team developed a more intuitive and profound understanding of the key technologies involved in wide bandgap semiconductors for high-power devices, extreme environment applications, and advanced packaging.
Secretary Xiao Gang noted in his introduction that the Faculty of Integrated Circuits has long been dedicated to chip design, materials innovation and device process research, establishing a comprehensive industry-academia-research system capable of providing enterprises with talent, technology and scientific research support. The JHEAT team, drawing upon their technical expertise in high-precision measurement and temperature control, focused their learning on the experimental centre's experience in temperature management and thermal stability testing.

Dedicated to establishing itself as a national research base for technological innovation, commercialisation, talent cultivation, and scientific collaboration within China's third-generation semiconductor technologies.
Technical Seminar, Deepening Understanding
During the exchange seminar, the JHEAT team engaged in in-depth discussions with researchers from TaiCheng Optical Communications and Xi'an Jiaotong University on topics including high-precision temperature measurement and control, optical communication device manufacturing, advanced materials, and semiconductor processes. Both parties shared insights into their respective technological strengths, industrial practices, and development strategies. Through these exchanges, JHEAT gained a more systematic understanding of the evolving demands for temperature control precision and reliability within optical communications and semiconductor manufacturing. Concurrently, the discussions further clarified the application value of their proprietary technologies within high-end manufacturing and scientific research contexts.

This visit has not only enhanced JHEAT's understanding of cutting-edge technologies in wide-bandgap semiconductors and optical communication devices, but also deepened its knowledge of research platform operational models and experimental conditions. Building upon this learning experience, JHEAT will continue to refine its ultra-high-precision temperature measurement and control products, enhance technological adaptability, and provide more robust technical support for the high-precision requirements of semiconductor manufacturing, quantum computing, and optoelectronics industries.
